VW Beetle and VW Touareg Launched !

Volkswagen has launched its much awaited models Beetle and Touareg in India with the price tag of INR 20.45 lakh and INR 51.85 lakh (Delhi Showroom Prices) respectively.
We are excited to bring this iconic Beetle, to India after its success across the world. The launch of the Touareg is our marketing debut in the SUV segment. India has a great demand for SUVs. The Touareg has been successful across countries and the entry will further enhance our presence in the market.

The new VW Beetle features 2L four-cylinder petrol engine producing 115 bhp @5400 rpm. It is coupled with the six-speed DSG gearbox.The new VW Touareg is equipped with 3L V6 TDI engine fitted with six-speed DSG gearbox, developing 240 bhp @ 4000-4400 rpm. It provides with leathered seats and 230V power socket in its rear luggage section. It also gives 35-degree side slope, 45-degree hill-climbing capacity and 500 mm wading depth.

The Volkswagen Beetle, also called as the Volkswagen Type 1, was an economy car produced by the German auto maker Volkswagen (VW). It used an air cooled rear engine rear wheel drive. The Volkswagen Touareg is a mid-size crossover SUV produced by German automaker Volkswagen Passenger Cars. It was the third sport utility vehicle from the automaker.
