Volvo XC60 SUV Coming to India in 2009

Volvo Car Corporation has reported that they are going to launch their new XC60 Sports and Utility Vehicle (SUV) next year (2009) in India.
This product has been showcased at the Geneva Show. Volvo Car India MD Paul de Voijs said:
With the launch of Volvo XC60 in India we will be broadening our model range to attract more customers with an active, urban lifestyle. With the expansion of our product offerings in 2009 we will further expand our customer base in the country.
They are already selling their two models in India and are Volvo S80 and Volvo XC90.
Three engines available at the show are: One turbocharged 285hp T6 and two 2.4L I5 Diesel at 163hp and at 185hp. A turbocharged 285hp T6 will be the performance choice at show.

what will be the cost of XC 60 in india will there be a volvo showroom opening in bangalore shortly

We are waiting for the launch of Diesel XC 60 A/T Version. It should be in the price bracket of 25L to 30L which will be give this Car success in India in good volumes.
