The rivalry in the Indian Auto Market is growing day-by-day, with all the new launches by global brands. VW, one amongst the global automotive leader is surly not lagging the race! After the long waited launch of VW Beetle, the following is the launching of VW Phaeton. It is expected that the new Phaeton will hit the Indian roads somewhere in Feb 2010.
The expected price range for the new VW Phaeton would be between 25 to 30 lacs. The upcoming luxury sedan by VW has got everything to take over the great competition in the Indian Auto market. Although the car is well built and equipped with all the expected and necessary features, the car could not acquire high success in terms of its sale in the United States. Built on the new Audi A8 platform, the car has got brilliant design and highly attractive structure.
In December 2009, the much waited Beetle came to India and as expected, exhilarated the buyers. Almost simultaneously launched, VW Polo, created waves with its high end looks at quite economical price range. The new Phaeton is expected follow the trends set by its siblings.

Volkswagen Phaeton is looking really good. But in this price range, they have to compete with Mercedes C-class, BMW 3-series and the mighty Audi A4.

The Phaeton is one of the most expensive cars to be rolled out from the VW factory. The Phaeton will be available both in petrol and diesel variants, 4.2 and 6.0 liter engines. The buyer is further spoilt for choice with the options of 23 shades thrown in.

the Volkswagen Phaeton is not pricing 25-30 lakh het is pricing 75-80 lakhs en will not complete with the mercedes C-class,Audi A4,Bmw 3-series het will complete jaguar xj,Audi A8,Bmw 7-series,mercedes S-class
