Volkswagen’s New Small Car is India Bound!

Following the same attributes of the viable market, Volkswagen has decided to roll out its small car in India.

Yes, the German auto biggie is positioned to chug out its small car in India, as it plans to introduce a sub-polo model here but it would be interesting to note whether the same gets christened as Volkswagen up or Lupo.

The new small car from the house of the one of the most prominent car makers of the world is being believed to be in the price band of 3 lakhs INR.

Nevertheless, the features and technical specifications of the upcoming car is yet to be revealed.

Another move that’s up on the sleeve of the company is that it’s looking up at emerging markets to zest up its bottom line.

Various companies nowadays of diverse attributes and product line are looking up producing the goods and services right at the place they operate in and Volkswagen is another one to do so as it plans to produce the upcoming unnamed car at its Chakan plant near Pune with 80% localization.

These initiatives help the companies to cut the manufacturing and transportation cost and gains a substantial margin over the products.
