Two Wheeler Sales Speed Up !

TVS Motors
TVS Motor posted 11% growth in its sales to 1,26,842 units in August this year from 1,14,321 units in the same month last year.
No news yet from Bajaj Auto about its sales. The company would be disclosing it today only. So we have to wait for the same.
Suzuki Motors
Suzuki Motors India reported 18% growth in its sales at 13,030 units.
Yamaha Motors
Yamaha Motors has posted 63% increase in sales at 19,508 units. The source says that there is a longer waiting list for Yamaha’s Fazer model.
This month, two-wheeler sales (exclusive of Bajaj Auto) are nearly 6.71 lakhs units (of which Honda duo/activa accounts for a 5.11 lakhs bikes & scooters) as against 7.17 lakhs units for an entire industry in a month of August 2008.
