TVS Scooty Pep Plus with ‘Balancing Wheels’

TVS Motors has introduced Scooty Pep plus with additional wheels that works as “Balancing Wheels”. These “Balancing wheels” will assist the scooty pep plus rider to learn without difficulty. With Balancing wheels, TVS will be dealing with the never before segment, “those who don’t be familiar with how to ride, even the bike”. According to company, ‘Balancing wheels’ are intended for the people who don’t know how to balance the 2-wheeler.
It is a simple innovation that makes learning to ride a two-wheeler easy, convenient and safe.

I have heard about TVS operating the driving institute to train women riders to drive two wheelers - I would be great if you can give me information about it. I am also very happy to hear this new model with balancing wheel because i wanted purchase the two wheeler but don’t know how to ride a cycle aswell.

The balancing wheels are available at all our dealerships. In Hyderabad, you can contact Mr.Satish (Area Manager) @ 94408-08380 for any assistance. The Scooty Institute is operating in over 100 towns. However, any TVS dealership will offer assistance for riding classes even in other towns. Kindly visit your TVS dealer for further details.

i have seen the balancing wheel , but we come from bihar and jharkhand where the conditions of roads are very pathetic and in these situation the balancing wheel seems to be of no use….

“Scooty Pep + with Balancing wheel” is just like dream come true. I had tried to learn two wheeler driving many times, even by trainers, but could not succeed, due to fare of balancing. Balancing wheels are available with all TVS dealers at a price pf approximately Rs.1500. A full list of TVS dealers is available at http://www.tvsmotor.in.

Balancing wheels are designed for people who have not even driven a bicycle. Because of the wheels the risk of falling down is low.
You should practice driving on a straight line till you are confident of getting the balance. This should preferably done in provate roads without too much traffic etc. Once you are confident on balancing, then you should remove the balancing wheels and head out into the city roads.
