TVS Motor to Increase PricesTVS Motors plans to increase their two wheeler price in the next month. The reason behind the increase of products is not known. The initial requirement of the customer was in the power segment. Now the prices will be hiked which means the TVS Apache RTR will be sold a bit costly. Increase in sales was recorded by TVS. Net profit was increased to 235.3 million rupees. The company did suffer a loss of 9.6 million rupees year ago.

Evaluation of products is being done where the cost will be increased according to its true value. On the other hand there are rivals which are decreasing the cost of their products. TVS is planning the entire strategy to boost their sales by manufacturing new bikes into the segment. The upcoming Jive will be one of the economy segment bikes. TVS also plans to upgrade their products by delivering high quality average per litre consumption.

Apart from marketing strategies and new launches TVS President of marketing dept announced the price will have a considerable rise from two or three weeks. The decision was taken by seeing the response at the Delhi Auto Expo. The price rise is confirmed but when it will take place that is not confirmed. According to the power segment there are new entries which might take TVS motors down. Other than two wheeler segment price hike will also be seen in raw materials costs in steel segment. A senior official confirmed the news at TVS office in Mumbai.
