Toyota Ramps Up Etios’ Production To Meet Demand
Posted on March 7th 2011Welcome back!

Now-a-days more than being in the limelight to promote a product, a lot is being spent on the strategies to ensure that a potential product reaches its target audience well on time. This holds true for automobile industry too.
As a minimum of 2-5 weeks are required for a car manufacturer to deliver a car, it might pave the way for a competitor to offer a similar product to the customers in the same time.
Concerned with the cut-throat competition factor in the Indian automobile market and various other impending factors, Toyota Motors, one of the majors of the auto market has decided to ramp up production of its immensely successful car, the Etios to meet demand and delay the launch of its Liva.
Yes, you read that absolutely correct! If you are thinking that booking an Etios would take a huge amount of time to deliver, get ready to be amazed as Toyota has decided to cut the production time for each car, enhance the production and postpone its another hatchback the Liva from April to June.
Toyota’s this move came immediately after reports reached the company that customers are miffed with late delivery of Etios and are taking initiatives to book other cars such as Dzire, Manza and Logan. However, the company seems to have lost no love amongst its customers and looks dedicated to offer Etios on time after the move.
We are thankful for the positive consumer response to the Etios and for the resulting demand. Our customer-first philosophy means that we put the customers’ needs ahead of everything else – it is this philosophy that has always helped Toyota manufacture quality products and maximize customer satisfaction.
Toyota Motors Managing Director Mr. Hiroshi Nakagawa was quipped as saying.
We thank our customers for the response we have received for the Etios and also for the patience shown through the waiting period. We would also like to sincerely apologize, to people eagerly awaiting the Hatchback – Etios Liva, for the postponement of the launch. We will do everything we can to limit inconvenience caused to our customers.
Toyota Motors Deputy Managing Director, Mr. Sandeep Singh was also quoted as saying.
It seems Toyota has rightly analyzed the market before it was too late and looks ready to tighten up all screws to make sure everything is perfect at the end of the day.
