Toyota Discontinues Fortuner Booking for Seven Months

Toyota has discontinued the Fortuner booking for next 7-months. Toyota Fortuner has been the much hit model and has exceeded the company’s expectations also. Within 2-weeks, Fortuner has got 3100 orders.
Now dealers are just taking names of interested customers and the company is trying to meet the rising demands by speeding up the production.Toyota has asked dealers not to register further orders from clients for next 7-months. The company’s production capacity is 550 unit/month and trying to produce 600 units/per month.
Toyota Fortuner was launched in 2005 (universally) and till now it has sold around 2.5 lacs in over 60 nations.

Very true the SUV is worth waiting for. The numbers show how big a hit the Fortuner is. This will surely be a great boost for the Toyota sales in the country.

the company should understand the customers demand….and do whatever it takes…becoz indian buyer will not wait and will switch on to other suv…so they should do something…or either when they will have the suv..there will be no more customers…wake up toyota.

Ford endeavor is far better if they increase the height of the vehicle with 17″ alloy wheels..

I have a complaint here. The demand for the car has been faked and the does not depict the real demand. People(dealers) are booking this car to be middle man so that they can earn comission by selling it at higher cost.
My request is to find the real customers and not let such a thing happen. Please look into this matter as the real buyers are suffering.
