Toyota Corolla Altis Launched

Toyota Motor Co., the Japanese Auto Makers has launched the tenth generation Corolla Altis in India. The Altis arrives in 3-variants and is costs between Rs 10.83 lakh - Rs 12.86 lakh at ex-showroom, Delhi.

The top-end model features Auto Dimming in rear view mirror, HID Lamps, Headlamp washers, eight way power flexible driver seats with an electric lumber support and the cruise control.
The new Altis arrives with 1.8L petrol edition with 130bhp on tap, up 7bhp from the former Corolla. The new Altis engine is more improved and powerful compared to previous one.
This year’s target is to sell 63,000 vehicles, and by fiscal 2015 we are aiming for a market share of about 10 per cent. The Altis marks our big step toward the achievement of this goal.

The industry plans to capture 10 percent share of an Indian car market by 2015, instead of past announcement which said the 2010.
The main announcement of an evening was launch of small car in India by 2010 which would assist Toyota reaches its targets for an Indian market.
Toyota previous had declared the investment of Rs 1400 crore in setting up their 2nd manufacturing facility in the Bangalore to begin planned small car for India within coming 2-years.
Regarding the small car that everyone has been waiting for, we aim to start production and sales around 2010 or early 2011.

The new Altis will be publicized seriously in coming days. The industry will soon start advertising blitzkrieg with more than 100-events planned concurrently all over country in the shopping malls, the airports and other public areas.
The company intends to sell average of 2k Corolla’s each month.

The new Corolla Altis is a great car.It is the perfect blend of style and performance.It is in with three variants: 1.8G, 1.8GL, and 1.8VL. Altis carries the price tag of Rs 10.8 Lakh and will definitely boost up Toyota sales
