Following the same attributes of business, Mahindra & Mahindra (M & M), has decided to add vibrancy to its existing model, Xylo.

It means the company is committed to provide customized Xylo and would be launching a micro-hybrid version of the same before this year zooms out and also up their set of actions is to unveil two electric cars from the Reva stable by the end of 2011.

To give you a peep about the new technology, Micro-hybrid is an advanced technology which helps a vehicle switch off the engine automatically when lying idle and again to kick start at the pressing of the accelerator without having to start on the engine again.

These micro-hybrid technology savvy vehicles are already out on the roads in SUV Scorpio & Bolero Maxi Truck.

We plan to launch the Xylo micro-hybrid before the end of the year. There are already 50,000 micro-hybrid enabled vehicles plying on the Indian roads from M & M group

M&M president, automotive and farm equipment, Pawan Goenka said in New
Delhi.

A lot of work is going on at the moment and the launch of the new Reva NXR and NXG should be by Q4 of 2011,

Another executive from the sources of company was quoted when asked about the developments pertaining to roadmaps for it’s newly acquired Reva, the electric car maker.
