Tatas Hike Car Costs by Up to 3%

Tatas on Monday raised the costs of their passenger vehicles up to 3% due to rise in input prices.
According to the company, the raise on Tata’s Indigo, Indica and Indigo Marina would be in the range of 1% to 2%.
The company would also raise the costs of Safari and Sumo by 2-3%.
Hyundai India also declares to increase the costs of their vehicles by up to 2% from 1st week of June.

Every car makers is increasing the price for their models due to the price raise in steel. Recently Maruti-Suzuki increased price for all the models expect for Grand Vitara.
