Tata Nano : Topmost Fuel Efficient Petrol Car

Tata Nano has been certified as the topmost petrol-run car in India by the Automobile Research Institute of India (ARAI) that offers fuel efficiency of a 23.6 km/l (under std conditions).
Maruti A-Star : the previous topmost in a fuel efficiency (petrol cars), now comes 2nd with a approved fuel efficiency of 19.6 km/l. The third place is shared by Hyundai i10 & Maruti Alto (18.1 km/l).
Most buyers’ choice depends on the fuel efficiency of car, thus fuel efficiency is the most important factor while buying any kind of car. Maruti Suzuki is well-known company for making best fuel efficient cars. However, launch of Tata Nano may affect Maruti’s place in making a fuel efficient cars.
Hyundai is the well-known for its high mileage in diesel run cars.
