Tata Motors Reveals Electric Ace and Electric Indica

Tata Motors yesterday revealed the electric Ace and electric Indica. The e-vehicles still in prototype phase include imported Lithium battery that was co-developed by the Norwegian substitute fuel industry and the Tatas UK research facility.

The e-Indica will be introduced in the Norway next year.
Norway has the necessary infrastructure in place to run electric cars which India lacks.
- Mr.Ravi Kant (President, Tata Motors) said.
The e-Indica will sports 2-batteries on the full charge, which will take about 8-hours, travel between 175kms - 200kms. GM specified that it would take more 2-years to launch e-Indica locally. Costs of e-Indica were not disclosed.
