Tata Motors Launches Jaguar & Land Rover Cars
Posted on June 29th 2009Welcome back!
Tata Motors had acquired the J & LR from the Ford in 2008. And now the company launched the J&LR cars, priced in range of Rs. 63 lakh to Rs. 92 lakh in Indian market.
According to Mr. Ratan Tata, at first three models of Jaguar and two models of Land Rover brand will be available in the market.
Tata Motors bought Jaguar & Land Rover (J&LR) from Ford for USD 2.3 billion in March 2008.
And badly, Tata Motors registered a net loss of more than 2500 cr rupees last financial year mostly on account of this purchase; apart from the fiscal crisis hitted the automobile sector globally.

Finally the two iconic brands Jaguar and Land Rover made their presence in India. As they are imported the prices are high but these cars with international fame are worth spending every penny.

Well both Jaguar & Land Rover are considered to be the lowest quality luxury vehicles available in the US. They have a reputation for low reliability and jaguar particularly has a reputation for also have cheezy design…
Land Rover is popular among upper class in the US though, even though it spends more time in the garage.
Hope Tata can re-engineer these cars to be better than what they are.
