Super Milo Buses by Tata Motors

tata_logo1.jpgTata Motors has launched latest range of Super Milo buses. The name itself indicates, the Super Milo range conveys superior operating economies. The range is available in 2-variants: Highway and City – each with customized parameters standardized for its individual applications.

These buses are powered by BS (Bharat Stage) II complaint 697 TCIC 130 horsepower engine. The torque of a 410Nm at 1400 to 1700 rpm and 130 horsepower at 2400 rpm which results in more mileage and better pick up.

Super Milo bus range having the following key features:

  • Special drivelines (rear axel and gearbox) for different applications: assists buyers select the appropriate variant.
  • Radial tyres: used for better mileage, safety and comfort.
  • Organic clutch: Used to improved driver comfort, longer clutch life, and decreased driver tiredness.
  • Larger air intake system: Used for good fuel combustion, resulting in the better fuel mileage.
  • Advanced oil change period of 36000 km for highway, and 18000 km for city applications, offering in lower maintenance cost.
  • These all features provide 8% to 10% additional fuel efficiency, along with the comfortable ride.

The bus range begins at Rs 8.5 lakh at ex-showroom, Delhi. This bus range arrives with the engine warranty of 2-years or 2-lakh kilometer, and warranty for chassis is 1.5 years or 1.5lakh kilometer at ex-showroom, Delhi, and is being introduced nationwide.
