 Tata Indigo CS e-series known as Tata Indigo e-CS VX has been launched by the Tata Motors Company. According to one of the leading automobile companies, this newly launched car gives wonderful fuel efficiency. One can opt for any of the version such as petrol or diesel as this new model is available in both of the versions. The diesel variant is made with CR4 common rail diesel engine that has engine displacement of 1396 cc. Tata Indigo e-CS was actually launched in the year 2008 in New Delhi at Auto Expo. This car was known as the shortest car of the world and famous for its compact exterior too.

Talking about its exterior and interior design, not much difference has been found between India e-CS VX and Tata Indigo CS. But this car got much fame due to the excellent engine performance and fuel economy. The improvement that has been brought in the Indigo e-CS has improved the overall fuel efficiency and engine performance of this sedan. This new car model has ARAI, an Automotive Research Association of India certified mileage of almost 25 km for every litre. By considering the increasing costs of fuel, Indigo Company has launched such diesel variant with finest fuel economy. Other enhanced features of this newly launched sedan are best gear ratios and best pick up too. The improved mileage has been seen in this new sedan due to the 5 technological enhancements. Now let us have a look at the new technological enhancements of this new sedan.

Smart Engine Management System is the first enhancement that balances engine components wonderfully for improving its performance. Advanced design of the engine head is the second enhancement that block and piston assembly, which strives to get better the circulation of charge and consequently the engine, is going to have great fuel economy. Drag reduction is the third advancement that has been done with a combination of redesigning the exterior along with lighter engine as well as shell. Optimized gear box is the fourth advancement, which gives the best fuel efficiency. The last and fifth advancement is the tires have been improved for catering to low rolling losses. This fifth advancement also allows getting best ride quality and comfort too.

A few changes have been done in the interior of e-CS VX with the new model having double-tone beige seating and dashboard. Other exciting features of this new sedan are new instrument cluster, a centre console with wooden finishing and rear centre armrest. Other features of this new sedan are anti-lock Braking System, electrically adjustable outside rear view mirrors, power steering, air-conditioning system, power windows, blue-tooth and key-less entry system. A few improvements have been done in its exterior too like having new 14 inch alloy wheels, outside rear view mirrors with body colored bumpers, headlamps and satin finish front grille. The cost of this diesel variant is 5.8 lakhs and MPFi petrol variant costs around 5 lakhs.
