Tata LSV Is Perfectly Placed to End Defense Woes!
Posted on June 22nd 2010Welcome back!
Competition is a factor that motivates everyone to bring out the best from us and all benefits from the very move.
Taking a cue from this example, the rivalry, and competition amongst auto majors have not only benefited users of diverse genres but also helped them to improve their product quality.
We are talking about Tata’s latest entrant in the defense sector, the Tata LSV, (Light Specialized Vehicles), which is being seen by experts as a comparison with Mahindra’s Axe.
Tata LSV has been well received by the defense sector as they are using it extensively. There are loads of factors riding in favor of this promising vehicle, the prominent amongst them being its high quality features. The company has worked hard to bring out the model well in time as it was first showcased at the defense expo way back in 2008.
Tata LSV has a payload capacity of 1.2 tones and it is versatile enough to let the Special Forces carry more weapons or soldiers depending on the situation. It gets an automatic transmission and has a top speed of 105kmph. The other specs include a whopping 255mm ground clearance and a 45 degree approach and departure angle. It can withstand temperatures ranging from -20C to 55C.
We have supplied the Tata LSV to the Army and the Anti Terrorism Squad and with this; Tata expands their current portfolio of defense vehicles which includes trucks, Sumos, Safaris and other similar multipurpose vehicles in 6-wheeler and 8-wheeler forms.
An executive from the company was quoted as saying. However, Mahindra on the other hand is busy getting readied its Axe for the Indian army.
Reports are also rife that the company is in talks with some gulf companies too to sell their Marksman.
The soldiers who risk their lives out there fighting terrorism & urgency will surely get help from these new vehicles like Tata LSV & Axe.
We are keeping our fingers crossed for Tata to come out with their highly anticipated model, LR Defender to ease defense’s cup of woes!
