The Tata India V2 is very strong car made by India and made for India. The car is designed quite well. Exteriors are really robust yet stylish looking. Inside the car we have a 1.2L Petrol engine. The car gives 65 bhp of power and the engine architectures consists of a 4 inline cylinder engine with a 32-bit microprocessor. This engine generates a torque of 10.2 Kmg at 2600 rpm which is good enough for a family car. The car produces good speed and goes well up to 150 kmph while it takes 18 odd seconds to go past 100 kmph. This power is well and truly sufficient for a family car. the 5 speed manual transmission gives the engine the necessary resource to generate the kind of power it is capable of.

After a brief knowledge of the specs, we move on to the handling part of it. The car is smooth in the city or rather at speeds till 100 kmph or even till 120 kmph. While you go on a longer route, you will slightly feel that the handling of the car and the gear shift is not that smooth. The car has a lot to work on, especially on its gearbox. The car though being a petrol version is a bit rough to drive. At corners even, this car is not very stable. Despite all this, the car is a perfect ride for a family of 4 to 5. This car is absolutely economical in city conditions and the engine is quite fuel efficient. The car gives a mileage of 12- 13 kmpl and around 16 on longer drives.

The car is basically designed for Indian conditions and it is really a good performer in Indian conditions. The engine type is absolutely tough; or rather the entire car for that matter is tough and well built. The car is a definitely a good deal with respect to its cost as well.
