Tata eMO EV Concept revealed at the Detroit Motor show
Posted on January 20th 2012Welcome back!

Tata Company has revealed the new eMO EV Concept (that is electric mobility concept) at the Detroit Motor show. It has the unique design with the front glass windscreen flowing to the front-passenger seat headrest along with easily foldable rear seats. Enough space is kept at the rear to keep the luggage. The rear doors of eMO EV are small but sufficient to permit a person to come through. Talking about its interiors, they are amusing to step into.
The eMO concept has no plans of bringing up mass production. However, Warren Harris, Tata Technologies President and Global COO states, “We developed it strictly as an engineering study with no particular automaker in mind. If there are auto companies interested in exploring the potential of the eMO, we would, of course, welcome that opportunity.”
Other features included in the new eMO, are dual-motor, liquid-cooled front-wheel-drivetrain attached with an air-cooled 18.4 kW high-energy battery. It has the capacity of reaching almost 161 km. It gives the top speed of 105 km/h. The suspension integrates an autonomous front lower an Arm and Macpherson struts. A semi-training link for the rear suspension with separate mounting shock absorbers as well as springs has been enabled in this concept. Another best thing in the eMO is the Front disk as well as the rear drum brakes that can be antilocked using an electronic stability control.
