Toyota is planning to bring its small car, Prius in India. Toyota Kirloskar Motors declared that this new car will also have a diesel variant. In December 2010, the diesel and petrol models of Toyota small car will roll out by Toyota Motor Corporation. As per the statement made by Company’s spokesperson, the small car will be a hatchback model in its group and will be powered with 1.3L or 1.2L engines. Mr. Hiroshi Nagakawa, the managing director of TKM said that the project of small car had completed 50% and they would introduce it in 22 months.
