Skoda is the brand well-liked for its high proficiency in applying recent technologies at their vehicles. Skoda India has already launched distinctly superior sedans such as Octavia and Laura. Now it has come up with its flagship sedan, the Skoda Superb, a real “superb” creation by Skoda.
![]() The new Skoda superb is a D+ class segment sedan, with all the interior luxuries and high end safety systems. With inclusion of the most recent and most reliable safety features such as, the ABS, ESP, Eight-side airbags, the car is built of for the new age buyers. The interior has a number of excellent and unique to Skoda comfort features. ![]() The target application for the car is of course the higher business purposes. Comments : The major aim in the design of Skoda Superb is to offer its passengers the world class comfort levels. This reflects at a number of places in the interior. The leather upholstery and wooden tone to the panels makes the interior of Superb, a pleasant room to seat into. ![]() Also the seating arrangement is designed quite brilliantly. The drivers seat a 12-way electrically adjustable with programmable memory, so that each time you enter the car, you need not make the same adjustments. Not only the drivers seat, but all other passengers seats posses such flexible adjustability. Long journeys are made comfortable with highly adjustable seats. In addition, the car is fitted with an adjustable rear air conditioning vents on B-Pillars, to ensure fresh air at all location, especially the rear sides. A new system is introduced, called Air Quality Sensor, which takes care of automatic air circulation. ![]() Driving becomes very enjoyable with the powerful turbocharged in-line petrol engine and the great amount of car controls offered at the Skoda Superb steering wheel. The engine produces a whopping peak power of 160 Bhp at almost 4500 rpm. This gigantic power generation blesses the driver with freedom of deciding the car dynamics. The car has 7-speed automatic transmission, which distinct this D+ segment vehicle from others. That’s all about agility of the car. The standard driving controls such as power steering, power windows and power ORVM are there to serve the driving wheel. Other extra comfort in Skoda Superb is taken car by Boarding spot lamps, Cat vision and diffused foot well lighting, Clock and outdoor temperature display on rear centre, Integrated sis-CD changer and SD/MMC data card reader, Retractable screens for rear windows and rear windscreen, Soft-touch automatic closure of boot lid, Twin-door - variable fifth door opening, etc. ![]() The safety and security in Superb is comparable to any world class luxurious SUV. The stability of the vehicle is observed through a solid suspension system, with front suspension as McPherson suspension with lower triangular links and torsion stabilizer, and rear suspension as Multi-element axle, one longitudinal, three transverse links, and torsion stab.
