Passion to keep launching new products not only keeps the position of a manufacturer intact in the market but also keeps the attention of targeted audiences lured to it.

In the same context Skoda, one of the majors of automobile market has recently announced the launch of two new models which are set to be brought to India.

The first report reaching here suggests that the first car would be a city centric one with chances of being positioned lower than the entry-level car, the Fabia. The model would be based on the lines of Volkswagen (VW) Lupo with some basic changes made to the panels, bodywork, bumpers and with some other cosmetic tweaks.

While Skoda has still not clearly announced about the features of the car, but at the end the fans of Skoda cars shall be expecting nothing less than the best as it has been giving quality cars.

This car is our answer to the increasingly strong demand for small cars with low fuel consumption and affordable costs of operation and offers a new sales potential in Europe for us.

Skoda Chairman Mr. Winfried Vahland was quipped as saying.

As far as the second car is concerned, the company has also announced a compact car that’s set to be positioned between the Fabia and the Octavia (Laura). The car shall be a great VFM (Value For Money) product and as the company is suggesting, it would be an ‘outstanding price to value ratio’ car.

It’s being expected that these two models would be brought to the automobile horizon of India in 2012. The pricing for these unnamed cars would be in accordance with Fabia and Laura, so take these models as your preferred reference point.
