Lots of website were having wrong information about the comeback of the legendary Yamaha RX100. Well the news was nothing else but waste of time. The real news was with us and there is a comeback of the Yamaha RX100 but not the entire bike buts its parts and accessories will be back. Our team ensured with Yamaha RX100 as our earlier post did mention about the new launches from Yamaha.
The internet was filled up with rumors about the comeback of the 2 stroke monster. Our team investigated the matter regarding Yamaha RX100 return. There was no sign of regeneration of Yamaha RX100 from the company. Our team then got further information about resale of parts.
The production of Yamaha RX100 parts had been stopped long time back. The company has decided to start the production once again with its new partner for creating one of kind’s accessories as spare parts.It’s a bad news for those who wished to have the sprinter in their hands. But for those who already own the bike can have a good upgrade to the engine. Tuning of the bike can be done according to requirements.
Those who even wish to buy a second hand Yamaha RX100 can also enjoy a new performance from the sprinter. Another update from the Yamaha cradle was about quality. Enhanced quality products will be delivered for the legendry Yamaha RX100. Get ready for the racing madness again as you can tune up your bike according to factory settings.

I have Yamaha RX-100 since 1995. Problem is- I want to buy the mirrors and the back indicators. I’m from Malta and the agent of Yamaha is not bringing spare parts. Please can you help me from where I can by.

well all of you have the same problem, no availability of spares….In this case all you need to do this, go to Yamaha spares showroom. Every city has its own spares and service center. All the accessories and spares will be available in the service center itself. Apart from service centers you might get them in Genuine Yamaha Spares shop which is available in any local auto shop dealer. These spares should be checked before buying, they should have a 3d logo and the Yamaha sign. Let’s discuss the problems now…..waiting for original spares is the only option.
1) Air filter—- Well you can try to upgrade your RX100 by installing a KNN filter RC1060. This filter will be available for around 1600 to 2000rs. It will increase your bike pick up and deliver superb performance. If you wish not to mod your bike for performance then the original filter would be perfect. Availability will be only in the service center for genuineness.
2)Mirrors and back indicators—–This is the only way through whcih you can get the spares. Apart from service centers there are no other ways through which you can get genuine parts. Well there are other shops which have genuine accessories. Checking them might do the trick. Duplicate parts are available but they are waste and not worth the value.
3)Upgrade your bike—-certainly that’s possible but who wish to upgrade a machine which performs so well. The true spirit of Yamaha is present in the RX100 so keeping it that way can help a lot in increasing the life of the bike. Well apart from all the Bling Bling, couple of upgrades is available. Use of synthetic oil can help increasing the performance. Apart from oil use of KNN filter can be done. It will increase the top speed and overall speed too. You can get them at any auto dealer which has KNN license. Synthetic oil is available in lube shops which are available at the service center too.

My name is vineesh.p.g i am from kollam…….I have RX100 yamaha 1991 model byke.Now i am planing to chamge all engine parts,but i didn’t get one iteam,that is “CYLENDER KIT” for that i had visited almost all the yamaha spare parts show rooms in kerala.but of no use so i am in deep trouble.I am requesting you to give price of regarding the cylender kit.If it is posssible can you courier that above mentioned product.if yes please make it fast.I will pay the money at the time of delivery then only i can complete the work of my byke.If it is possible please give the replay soon …..

hello i have av 94 rx-100 i want to convert it to 12 volt cos 6 volt battery is no longer available , right now iam using 6volt toy battery but that is not suiting the bike needs, another problem is taht my bikes electricals have got very weak ,the horn ,blinkers,headlight everything is quite feeble so please help me wutha remedy

Hi,
I live in chennai & i have a 1986 model Rx100 & it requires a complete restoration. starting from the engine, clutch & gear box overhauling.All the cables front & back suspension, brake kit, oil pump. I have 1998 RX 100. I have completly restored the byke. What I want is and original silencer OLD or New.
Note. Silencer should not have any dents( If its Old)
