REVA Unveiled New Lithium ion Battery-Powered Models

REVA launched lithium ion battery model of REVAi version which assures to speed up its charging times and extend range. New lithium ion battery increases its range up to 75 miles that is 50% better than existing version.
The new REVA lithium can be utilized for almost 95% of all car travels without a need of charge. In urgency, it can be charged in just 1 hour at any fast charging station. Otherwise, ordinary mains electricity could recharge the REVA-Li.But it will take 6 hours to recharge it fully.With the top speed 50 mph, the L-ion battery has long life and better performance in very cold climate conditions.According to Mr. Chandramouli (President, Sales & Marketing, Reva Electric Car Co.), these cars will be priced in a range of Rs. 7 lakh to 8 lakh. The company is planning to launch its new models by the end 0f 2009.

I feel 7 to 8 lakhs is quite a price for a new launch and concept for this year.

bhosdi walo ye btao isme kitne log baithenge. upar se rupees maang rahe ho 8 lakh
