Posted on August 31st 2008

Welcome back!

The Rajkot Chamber of Commerce & Industries (RCCI) has asked Tata Motors here to move their ‘Nano‘ car project.

The company President Mr. Rajnibhai Bavisee wrote in his letter to Mr. Ratan Tata (Tata Motors Chaiman) that the company can decrease Nano’s cost further if project is shifted here.

Nano’s required spare parts will be supplied from here and the transportation charges saved will aid the industry to decrease their cost (Nano) further by shifting project in a city, Mr. Bavisee said.

This invitation was offered after Tata specified that the project could be shifted out of the West Bengal because of continuous violence and disturbance that is intimidating the safety & security of the employees.
