Prices altered on the Honda City!

Honda, one of the leading car manufacturers in the premium segment of cars in India today have announced the new price structure that will be in effect for its model, Honda City. The prices have been lowered after enforcing considerable cost reduction efforts in the supply chain and manufacturing. This change in price will be effective from 14th June 2011. The price revisions in the car are in line with the global vision of Honda, which aims at creating products that maximize the joy for all its customers, with speed, affordability and low CO2 emissions.

The new Honda City has all the looks, brilliant performance, and the legacy of Japanese car maker Honda, which is also seen in its arrow design along with its front logo. This car is apparently a very economical luxury sedan from Honda and the company has to be appreciated for reframing the price range. Keeping in mind the tough roads, the car has been given a properly calibrated suspension system, which gives its customers all the satisfaction of owning a classy sedan. The Honda City is a good example of both performance and looks.

Commenting on the new price structure, Sr. Vice President  of the Sales & Marketing, Honda Siel Cars India Mr. Jnaneswar Sen, said, “Our R&D function in India (HRAP-I) started working on localization and cost down activities for our volume models from year 2009. In anticipation of bigger volumes resulting in economies of scale from the second half of current year, we have achieved considerable cost reduction, and are happy to pass on the benefit to the customers with immediate effect. The Honda City would now start from Rs 7.49 lakhs (ex showroom Delhi).”

Given are the revised prices of various Honda City models, Honda City EMT,  is priced at Rs 8, 15,000, and it’s second variant Honda City SMT will now cost Rs 8,64,600. On the other hand Honda City VMT price has been set at Rs9, 09,800, and Honda City VMT Exclusive is priced at Rs9,60,900. The price of Honda City VAT has been revised to Rs 9, 82,000, and that of Honda City VAT Exclusive has been changed to Rs10,33,100. All the prices mentioned over here are ex-showroom Delhi prices.

The Honda city is one fantastic ride, and the customers now will surely have all the pleasure while driving it with its alteration in the prices, which is a welcome change for its customers. The end customer would probably have no qualms whatsoever about this great and economical ride.

    At last Honda has been bitten by compatition and they are left with no option but to reduce their profit margins to increase their diminishing sales !

    Honda,this is really a nice welcome feeling for Honda lovers.Sure,many motorist can bring their dream come true.Honda,is every motorist dream.Honda, i really like to know about JAZZ-X.Please bring it live with additional features,pack it with important,good stuff,i am waiting for it.I love you HONDA
