Nissan Plans to Invest $700 million in Electric Car Venture

Nissan has decided to invest nearly USD 700 million in 2-factoies to make electric cars’ batteries in Portugal and Britain after obtaining financial support from respective governments.
Auto manufacturers around the globe are making plans for majority electric car creation as an industry looks for to pull itself out a destructive downturn.Previously (week ago) Toyota announced that it will manufacture its European-made hybrid car in a Britain in 2010.
Nissan is planning to invest over $328.6 million in the factory near the Sunderland, north-east England.
The two governments (UK and Portugal) have offered to extend financial assistance and other support to ensure that Nissan locates the proposed plants within their respective countries.

The environmental condition is so that more car companies should start thinking about electric cars as they are more eco-friendly and pollution free. Nissan’s decision is extremely futuristic
