New Small Car Ford Figo in India !

Ford Motor Company, the US auto giant has unveiled Ford Figo - its very first small car for the Indian market. The small car has been unveiled at the glittering ceremony in New Delhi.

The 2008 Ford Fiesta platform based - Ford Figo - will be made in Ford’s Chennai factory. The company has made an investment of $500 millions to increase its production capacity to 200,000 units per year.The new Ford Figo comes with 1.2L petrol and 1.5L diesel engine with 3-versions : Trend, Titanium & Ambient.

Our exciting new Ford Figo shows how serious we are about India. It reflects our commitment to compete with great products in all segments of this car market. We are confident the Ford Figo will be a product that Indian consumers really want and value.

The company has not disclosed any further specifications/pricing details of new Figo.So Please keep visiting for further details.

   The Figo is priced between Rs 3.6 lakh and 4.6 lakh. It is a great car. Hopefuly it will be launched next year itself.

    Dear Ford Figo Manager .

    I am fan of ford and use only ford.currently i have a ford ikon 1.3 petrol and was looking at the ford fusion to buy for .But you have got a new one figo looks great but the only draw back i saw was the distance of the front bumper and the railings with the condensor is too less if at all on a long drive a stone or any hard object hits the front bumper railings which ahs got a wide gap the condensor will be damaged and that’s the draw back..kindly reply back for the same.

    i’v booked a FIGO ZXI on 9th at chennai MPL FORD and had also previously advance booked the car d previous month.. no news about the delivery…when can we expect the car?
