New Mahindra Xylo with ABS Coming Soon!

Mahindra Xylo is ready to launch with the new features. The top end model - Xylo E8 is now offered with ABS (Anti-lock braking system) as an option. The price will be Rs. 8,18,535 (ex-showroom, New Delhi) and the model will be available at all dealership centers of Mahindra from end of June.
We have introduced Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) as an option in the XYLO E8 on the basis of customer feedback and suggestions. ABS makes the XYLO an even safer vehicle to drive and depending on demand we will look at introducing this technology in other variants in future.

Mahindra’s Xylo was unveiled in Jan 2009. It is one of the successful vehicles launched in 2009 and by now has crossed 16K bookings in the country. New Mahindra Xylo provides whole SUV’s luxury comforts and addition of ABS will further enhance the stability of vehicle by preventing its wheels from a lock when brakes are applied on any kind of skid-prone surface.

I agree that it is good news but i feel that it is high time that safety features like ABS should be made as a standard features in all cars especially in bigger cars.

Mahindra Xylo enters the Limca Book of Records:
The team comprising of Harinder Sidhu (from Tech Mahindra) & Karanbir (from Overdrive) clocked the achievement of fastest south to north drive in a 4 wheel vehicle. They drove in a Xylo that was specially made for the drive by the brand team from Kanyakumari to Leh in flat 79 hours. The Xylo was specially equipped with ABS feature & with eye-catching decals all around the vehicle.
This achievement also conveys that the Xylo can be taken to such an extent as for driving is concerned that anyone can truly trust this car in terms of its reliability and performance.

The ABS feature does have great importance to it and also that this features are always useful in a car like this which is more of a family oriented vehicle. Along with the ABS the xylo in its E8 variant has introduced safety Airbags in it.

I(kenyan) sat on the back of mahindra xylo e8..with my friends from India,Brazil,Argentina and the day went like a dream as the driver took charge the journey to Daulatabad Fort…was a dream come true with the comfort and beauty of the vehicle..it is a state of the art -four wheeler,the manouvers and the speed..controls…i will buy it one day..
