Statistic reports made on a global level tells that the concept of small powerful cars is the hottest new thing at present, in this season. It has been seen that every other car company is launching a small car, and Tata Nano has set the best example, and has given a kick start to this trend. However, other companies are trying hard to set a competitor to the Tata Nano, and new specifications and designs are all in the making. Chevy on the other has actually managed to come up with something that would be treated as a rival of the Tata small wonder. Maruti Alto actually did manage to get in a lot of its buyers as Alto too was a small car, with its mileage as it plus point.

News is that General Motors India is also set to launch its all new small car the pre released Chevrolet Spark, but this time around it will also be powered by sturdy 800cc engine, making fuel economy, its main feature.

However, news is that there will not be too much of marketing and hype created about this, and that some less effort by GM will be seen in launching its new car. If reports are to be believed, GM is not going to do much with the car’s exteriors, and all they are going to do is replace the smaller engine with a brand and also with a new powerful 800cc engine. The buzz is that, this will assist this American car manufacturer to reduce the price of the new Chevrolet Spark by almost Rs 30,000

The new 800cc engine will come with a 3 cylinder engine, and is expected to be extra fuel efficient. The car will even make it around 25 km per liter, as per reports.  This car will make one thing sure that it would apparently save in a lot of money of its owners in the long run.

Nevertheless, there are so many small cars that are coming up in the auto market at present that Chevrolet Spark, with its 800 cc will surely have to face a very tough competition from Maruti Alto, Maruti Swift, Tata Nano, Hyundai i10, Hyundai i20.
