Bosch’s new automotive start-stop systems acquiring popularity day by day. These systems provide considerable decrease in a fuel consumption and CO2 emission also, since they are able to detect if a vehicle is motionless and can switch off its engine. In case, the vehicle is stationary for some period, these systems can turn off an engine i.e. at the red light or in the traffic jam.
Such technologies are very essential especially in the world of global warming, increasing pollution and rising fuel prices. Bosch’s systems will save up to 5% fuel and decrease CO2 emission efficiently. This new system has been précised with the particular number of engine starts which boosts the service life of engine as compared to the starts from conventional starters.
MINI and BMW are already utilizing these systems in their models and now 3-more auto manufacturers plans to lunch this technology in their models. The system includes control software that can be easily integrated in engine control unit. Bosch already has sold 300 million units of the conventional starters universally. It will be the price effective deal for the car makers
