Maruti Suzuki, the country’s first name in the categories of car and customer satisfaction, is all set to revitalize its top position with the speculated launch of its all new Alto with a K-Series engine this year.

Currently the Tata Nano sets the benchmark with the highest fuel efficiency of 23.6 (as certified by ARAI), the new Alto is certain to return an efficiency of over 20 kmpl. Maruti is also planning to introduce a basic stripped down version of the Alto and is trying to price it in the Maruti 800 range.

Mr. B.C. Bhargava, the chairman of Maruti Suzuki India was stated as saying.

The limited edition SX4 will be equipped with Chrome Decals, A Boot lid Spoiler, Reverse Parking Sensors on its exteriors and Outside Rear View Mirrors (ORVM) mounted indicators from the inside, the car will boast of leather seat covers and an additional reading ramp. The car may come with a price tag that is heavier by Rs 25-40,000 as compared to the Zxi version of the SX4.

Another executive from the sources of the company was quoted as saying on the features of the new limited edition SX4.

Well, these two weapons from Maruti would reposition it to a next level of crescendo.
