Nano Bookings to Start from March-April 2009

Tata Motors souces said that the company would start Nano booking from March/April 2009.
According to sources, Tata Motors has sent 3 models of Nano from its Pantnagar facility to Dehra Dun, Almora and Ranikhet for test runs.
Government of Uttarakhand had provided Tata Motors an extra 45-acres of land at Pantnagar facility in last week only. Nano was initially intended to be commercially introduced around Durga Puja this year but has been delayed to the last quarter of this financial year.
The company is planning to produce the Nano from its various locations, including Pune and Pantnagar till the mother plant at Sanand is ready.

The bookings have started but Tats’s have still not confirmed the date. People will hesitate to invest Rs.70,000 for a car for which the launch date is still mystery.
