Sometimes bringing back phased-out products in market could be a win-win situation for many players of different operating arenas like FMCG, telecom and automobile. The key aspects for the failure of a product are analyzed and depending on them further actions are planned to make it click next time it’s launched.

This has happened many a times and struck gold too. Mercedes-Benz is also expecting the same as they re-launch Maybach in India.

There was a time when comparisons were done between Mercedes-Benz Mayback and Rolls-Royace Phantom, with the latter being the most luxurious automobile in the world.

Maybach, however, could not keep the promise and soon phased-out but Phantom continued to rule the automobile world.

Nevertheless, even with its not so enticing sales records, Mercedes-Benz continues to believe in the Maybach brand and have supported it with all its force till date.Continuing with its trust towards Maybach, Mercedes has re-launched the premium sedan in the Indian market with a hope to catch the fantasy of the high and mighty.

Maybach in its second outing in India has been priced at Rs. 4.85 Crores and Rs. 5.10 Crores (Ex-Delhi) for the 57S and 62 variants.
