Mercedes-Benz Introduces New Intercity Luxury Coach

Daimler Buses has entered luxury bus segment in India, introducing latest Mercedes-Benz Intercity Luxury Coach. The coach is made on a versatile O 500 R / RF chassis from the Mercedes-Benz, while its entire body is made by the Jalandhar based Sutlej Motors.

The first customers of the Mercedes Benz includes: Neeta Tours & Travels (Mumbai), M/S Sharma Transports (Bangalore), Konduskar Travels (Kolhapur) and were handles the keys of their vehicles during the introduction.First offering launched on particular routes for southern and western India with an adequate service and after sale support.
As the oldest bus maker in the world and market leader in the bus segment, Mercedes-Benz buses will enable people in India to ‘Travel with the Star’. The Mercedes-Benz O 500 R / RF is a versatile chassis and has been proven across markets, the world over. Its legendary suspension, reliability and safety will be complemented by the superior dynamics offered by the bus body created locally by Sutlej. We are bullish about the bus business and see this as the beginning of Mercedes’ bus business in India.

Bus market in the country is witnessing great change - the riot aided by the government motivated infrastructure projects which are devoted to redefine a mass transportation industries in India. Big scale projects such as NSEW corridor and Golden Quadrilateral are already in progress and now close to end. As connections between remote places strengthen, there is bigger demand for the mass transit systems to go the people with results that are reliable, strong, and passenger-oriented. I am a wholesale Luxury Coach dealer in the United States. Is there a market in India for such a vehicle.
If so I would like to talk about exporting to your country.
