Maruti SuzukiThe battle of small car is heating up more and more. After Tata announced its small car “Nano”, Bajaj has announced its small car as well. Then Hyundai show interesting launching small car as well. Not its the turn of Maruti Suzuki to launch the small car.

Maruti Suzuki is planning to launch a new car with Suzuki 660 cc engine (as compared to 623 cc engine of Nano) at the end of this year. The will come at on road price of Rs. 1.5 lakh (as compared to Rs. 1.25 lakh for Nano). This price does not include the insurance of the car.

Sources reports that this small car project is being started at Hamamatsu city in Japan in Suzuki’s headquarters.

Now Maruti Suzuki entering into micro car market makes this market even more tough. All auto biggies of India including Maruki Suzuki, Tata, Hyundai and Bajaj are into this segment. Who is going to make it to the top, only time will tell. I think the time of launch of the car will also play a major factor.

But I heard on TV today where somebody from Maruti said that they are not planning to bring any car below the price of Maruti800. So how is that possible?

Suzuki makes worlds most accident prone vehicles in the world, 1.M-800,2.Omni 3.Zen (Old&Estilo)4Wagon R
belive me check how many people have survived in these cars in gead on and offset crashes.
Just the way Govt makes two wheeler riders ride with helmets compulsory why Govt can not make this cheat company make free death insurance compulsory for every first customer of the vehicle. Also note that these vehicles are rated very poor in safety in Europian countries and M-800,Omni ,Wagon R vertually non existant and even if they in better form
