India’s largest, oldest and the hence one of the most reliable carmakers Maruti Suzuki unveiled Maruti Wagon R in a grand launch in 2010. What we saw in the grand launch was a complete transformation. The company upgraded and brought in so many alterations. Performance

Maruti Wagon R LXI DUO BSIII is equipped with 1.1L 57.5bhp 4 cyl. in-line, FC in line engine with four cylinders and MPFi fuel supply system. There are four valves fitted for each cylinder inside. The engine comes with the displacement of 1061 cc. There is no turbo charger or the super charger. The car equipped with this kind of an engine can churn out the maximum power of 57.5 PS at 6000 rpm and as regards the maximum torque you have here 7.8 kgm at 4,500 rpm. The engine comes with a five speed manual transmission gearbox. This is an LPG version and the fuel tank capacity of the vehicle is 22kg which is pretty good. This is a pretty safe car with a sound and dynamic braking system. The car has an efficient and distinctive suspension. The front suspension is of Mc Pherson strut with coil spring and rear suspension of isolated trailing link with coil spring. I guess poor rear visibility and lack of width of the backseat can be listed down as the major drawbacks. Moreover, adjustable steering wheel, fog lamps, rain sensing wiper and rear window wiper could have easily been incorporated here.
