Maruti to Chug out CNG VariantsHere is a piece of news that’s surely going to feel eco-friendly.

Yes, Maruti Suzuki, the country’s numero uno car manufacturer now has another first up their records.The customer-friendly company is all set to bring out CNG (compressed natural gas) cars in all its sections.

The very move of the company has put a full stop on further production of the LPG models, which are being phased away now.

Work on the LPG models has stopped because we feel that customers would prefer CNG cars over it. The first batch of the CNG variants will be released early next year.

Chairman of Maruti Suzuki India, Mr. R.C.Bhargava was quoted as saying on the news.

Maruti Suzuki India would start introducing the clean fuel cars once the distribution network of CNG is upgraded all over the country. The metro and big cities will receive the advantages first,

- said Bhargava, on the present scenario and situations which are about to dawn fast.

In order to avoid mad rush for owning these cars; the company has struck to customized strategy of rolling out the end users products in huge numbers. Also up in the schemes are campaigns to strengthen the existing distribution networks when cars are dished out as to make it to the customers on time.

The first CNG variant expected to be out in the market can well be the highest selling small car, Alto.

However, Bhargava declined to comment as to which model would be the first to get the tag of CNG.

It is good to notice that not only companies like Maruti think about increasing sales, but also synchronizing with what is best for the nature’s health as well. (Read CNG)
