Maruti has launched new version of its popular SX4 model. New SX4 is BS-IV compliant and available with automatic transmission (AT) feature.

The new Maruti SX4 features dual tone dashboard, honeycomb grille and 10-spoke modish alloy wheels. With No changes in the exteriors, only the interiors will get renovated. The new WT, BS-IV compliant engine generates 103.25 bbhp@5600 rpm and 145 Nm@4100 rpm.Due to its competitive cost tag, it is now set to compete with trendy Honda City. The company had temporarily discontinued SX4’s production and some car dealers thought the SX4 to be phased out. the car failed to register good sales figures Due to poor mileage. That’s why the company hadn’t launched its AT variant earlier. The company now aims to register good sales figures with this new version.

I think the sx4 is a good car. And the auto version can be popular. But the only problem is the manza and linea are dominating the sedan segment. Moreover the Manza is targeted towards premium segment.

i have been using the SX4 since past 18 months. It is just great for long drives, intercity traffic. It manages itself very nicely through traffic. Very less strain to the driver when going on long distances. Its suspensions are great so you dont feel any jerks at all. Moreover SX4 has very good features like airbag, ABS, audio controls on steering

The SX4 handles superb on curves and bends. The car with a 1.6litre engine is freaking powerful. Long distance traveling is done in short time. The design is bit edgy when it comes to handling. On straights the SX4 is superb. On turns it lacks flexibility and this is where the Linea goes ahead. If any one wants a definitely male car… go for SX4
