Maruti Suzuki to Roll Out New ‘M800 Uniq’

India’s largest car manufacturer Maruti Suzuki is planning to launch a limited edition of its regular M800 – M800 Uniq.
‘M800 Uniq‘ will be offered at an extra price of Rs 5200 over the old M800 model which is costs at Rs 2,11,176 at ex-showroom, New Delhi.
The company has already initiated dispatching it which would appear only in A/C version to their nationwide dealers since yesterday. The ‘Uniq’ features body graphics, new beige upholstery, stylish door trims with the fabric inserts, tidy lower console boxes, rear package plate, trendy dome decals to draw the young consumers.
They hope to increase Maruti 800 sales which have been going down gradually. In the month April to June, company has sold 16,649 cars of 800 down from 17,994 cars for the similar period last year, down by 7.47%. They had also introduced the LPG variant of the 800 sometime back.
M800 is the iconic brand in country and as its launch 25 years ago, has sold over 2500K units in domestic market. Company has also exported 183K units of this model.
The latest 800 ‘Uniq’ will be officially available in their showrooms across country from August 4.
