| Maruti Suzuki SX4 is an A3 best segment sedan that merges style, performance, comfort, and safety. The SX4 is 2nd international offering from Maruti, the 1st being a Swift. India is the 1st country to see the unveiling of SX4, which shows India’s value as one of the newest car-markets in world.The SX4 is being advertised as the widest, tallest, and broadest sedan in its segment. It is offered in 2-variants, Vxi and Zxi. The SX4 have different features which are offered only in cars that priced about a lakh extra as compared to it. That’s why Maruti Suzuki SX4 is supposed to offer the tough fight to the Ford Fiesta, Chevrolet Aveo, Hyundai Verna and Honda City.
Both, the SX4 Vxi and SX4 Zxi variants are offered in a host of the Metallic colors like Clear Beige, Silky Silver, Midnight Black, Pearl Arctic White, Sunlight Copper, Azure Grey and Supreme Red.  |
Powertrain & Performance:
| The Maruti Suzuki SX4 gets power from current and economical 1.6L M-Series petrol engine that generates 102bhp of power at 5500 rpm and 145Nm of a torque at 4200rpm.The SX4 is plotted by an extremely responsive e-power steering and is mated to the smooth shift five speed manual transmission.
The SX4 drive on independent gas packed McPherson strut suspensions with an anti roll bar in front and partly-independent torsion beam suspensions with the gas packed shock absorbers in a rear. Such kind of suspensions assists the car fly over an uneven Indian road present the occupants of SX4 with the smooth ride. Ventilated disc front brakes and rear drum brakes offers sharp impede power to SX4 and reduce its stopping gap. The Zxi offered with Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) that builds your command of car secure on the highways. Ground clearance of 180 mm (for VXi) and 190 mm (for ZXi) endows the SX4 to be fling on all types of roads without fear of its base being damaged. With the turning radius of 5.3m, the MAruti Suzuki SX4 can be driven, swerved or turned in the constricted lanes without any problem. Assembly & Styling:
| Inspired by the hottest European design styles, the SX4 have a trapezium appearance, with the wide treads and big wheels. Having 4490 mm length and 1735 mm width, the SX4 looks impressive. Curved fenders extra add to its sporty and muscular view. Its front facade is controlled by athletic boat- profiled grille and headlamp cluster contacting bonnet. At rear, SX4 has acquired a big tail gate and a rear bumper which improves its feasibility.Both variants offered with body-colored bumpers, rear foglamps, electrically adaptable exterior mirrors, and glass-antenna. Few exterior features (in ZXi only) includes alloy wheels and front foglamps.
With a wheelbase of 2500 mm and high roof line, Maruti Suzuki SX4 provides spacious and relaxed interiors. With the 5-seat capacity, the car offered with fabric seats (standard) and front & rear power windows. The ZXi is comes with the choice of full leather interiors that provides best comfort. Few interior features similar to both variants are heater, middle room lamp, double map lights, remote controlled fuel tank lid, remote controlled trunk lid, rear defogger, flexible head rests in front and rear etc. The VXi variant offered with the manual AC while an auto AC (a single zone) is offered in ZXi variant.
