Both the vehicles have been in the market for a long time. They have served the auto industry with lots of features. These two cars are best in its class of hatchbacks. The Swift and the Santro are cheap.

They are easy to drive and have sufficient space for your family. The Santro is an old model which is being manufactured since a long time. On the other hand the Swift is new and has revamped engine which works simply superb. Both of them are Hatchback cars which mean they are powered with a hint of luxury.

Interiors and looks
The Santro has the capacity to accommodate 4 adults comfortably. The looks of the Santro are same and refreshing. On the other side the Swift has the capacity to accommodate 5 adults. Well the rear seating area is more than the Santro. The driver and the co driver can easily stretch their legs in the front area of both the cars.

Engine and mileage
This is the main section for any car. We Indians ensure that we get economy out of everything that we use. The Santro delivers a mileage of 16 to 18kmpl and the Swift on the other side has the same output. Reliability wise the Santro is anytime better since its Hyundai. Maruti on the other side is not that great, but the after sales service is too good.

Handling quality
The Santro is peppy and easy to drive as it’s a small vehicle compared to the Swift. The Swift has a powerful engine which ensures you have a good time. The Swift is very powerful compared to its engine size and cost. You might reach the three digit mark in less time.

Time to go to the ATM
Well if you are looking for reliability the Santro is the best option. If reliability and style are not on the menu the Swift is an ideal option. The Swift has top end speed, the Santro is subtle and small as compared to performance of the Swift. Cost wise the Swift is expensive than the Santro. Maintenance wise the Santro is much cheaper than the Swift.
