Maruti Suzuki Sold 3 Lakh Units of Maruti Swift

Maruti Suzuki is one of the largest car manufacturer and car exporter of India that crossed the sales limit for Maruti Swift by selling its 3 lakh units in India. Now, the company is planning to start an online community named Swift Life for its owners so that they can celebrate the 3 lakh milestone.
Mr. Mayank Pareek, the Managing Executive Officer of marketing and sales department of Maruti Suzuki said -
“Swift represented the first Suzuki world strategic model produced in India. Built on a brand new platform, Swift marked a radical new trend in Suzuki design, representing a new philosophy and fresh thinking at Suzuki Motor Corporation.”
In the year 2005 Swift was launched by Maruti and its first 1 lakh units were sold in 21 months, second 1 lakh units in 13 months and the third set of 1 lakh units was sold in only 11 months. The diesel variant of the car was launched in January 2007. The diesel and petrol models of Swift are the fast selling models for Maruti.
