Maruti Splash Renamed as Ritz in India

Maruti Suzuki’s Splash will be launch in early 2009 in India. It is the hatchback model in B+ segment. Now the company is planning to rename the Splash as Ritz in the country and will be included in small car range of the Maruti Suzuki.
It will be priced in the range of Rs 4.5 to Rs 5.5 lakh. Suzuki had debuted the model at Paris Motors Show last year but after that the company had done few changes in car.The Ritz offered with more styling and modern interiors. Maruti Suzuki Splash or Ritz? This car is said to be the replacement of Maruti Suzuki WagonR. Hope it is as good as WagonR in its performance.

Whatever the name, I hope that there is more space at the back compared to the Swift and that the gear-box is much superior to that in the Wagon-R
