Maruti Recalls 1,00,000 Units of A-star Cars
Posted on February 24th 2010Welcome back!

Yes the auto industry is hit again with a minor problem. Last time it was the Honda this time it’s our own Maruti. The all new Maruti A-Star is being recalled as a fuel pump problem exists. As said by sources from a Maruti Dealership the problem has been detected where if the tank is filled up to the brim there are chances where fuel might leak.
This can be dangerous at times if the car is in high speeds. All the valued customers who have purchased A-Star are being communicated through letters. They need to go to the service station and a through check will be performed. Not all cars are having this problem but the ones with it will get full replacement. This has decreased the value of Maruti in the market. A change in the gasket and fuel pump will be done to eradicate the leakage problem in the Maruti A-Star.
Problems from customers haven’t been reported yet from their side. Most of the valued customers haven’t even got any letter from Maruti. This has affected the share market. The value of Maruti shares has immediately gone down after the problem of fuel tanks. A decrease by 3.24% has been seen. Maruti will continue the replacement so for those who are a owner of a A-Star rush to your nearest Maruti Care centre for replacement.
