Maruti A-Star to Introduce with K-Series Engine

Maruti Suzuki is planning to launch the scheduled car: A-Star with the next gen K-Series engine. The K-series engine is very fuel efficient engine. Next month, the A-Star will be roll out from Manesar factory (Gurgaon). Every Suzuki cars will have the K-series engine in coming 3 to 5 years. The A-star will also be Euro-4 & 5 compliant which would provide its competitive benefit amongst its challengers in same segment.
The key market for Suzuki cars is Europe and it intends to introduce the same engine in the Europe as well. Mr. Osama Suzuki (Suzuki Chief) is on 3-day visit to India to closely observe the developments separately from attending the Company’s Annual Meeting.
Suzuki expects that 1-litre petrol engine or ‘green engine’ would allow the company to achieve the major goal in European market. India is their making and export hub for the small cars that supply to global demands.

I purchased A Star 3 months ago. This car has been given some amazing sporty looks and it has been manufactured after taking into consideration the demand of young generation. Other then this mileage of the car is very good and right now it is providing me mileage of more then 18 kmpl. Best car for city driving . Go for it.. A Star simply superb performer!!!
