Maruti A-Star to be Titled Pixo and New Alto Globally

New car having 3-different names! For 1st time in the auto history of India, the car made in India - will put on 3-different logos in a global market.
Maruti Suzuki will name it A-Star in Indian market. The similar car will be deal-made by Maruti for the Nissan Motors and named Pixo and will be the latest Alto for the Suzuki Motors in Europe.The car will be made entirely by Maruti Suzuki’s factory at Manesar, Haryana and will be revealed by both industries at Paris Motor Show nest month at their respt areas.Both Pixo (Nissan) and Alto (Suziki) will participate against Aygo (Toyota) in an International market. According to MSI spokesperson:
A-Star has nothing to do with Alto, which will continue to be the flagship model of Maruti Suzuki in India. It is a totally different segment.
The cars will be on the similar platform, but European cars models will be different from an Indian model. The cars will be powered by Suzuki’s 1L K-series engine, however the Alto and Pixo will have the extra 4-speed auto-transmission for trouble-free city handling.
All cars will have the common architecture; however Pixo’s front will be different (including Logo).

One Single car in three names and this is for the first time that is happening in the Indian Automobile history. The car comes packed with good features and would be rolled out by this year end.

Maruti A Star is a handsome car and value for money. It has got ABS, EBD and front seat belt pretensioners all withing 4.5 lakhs. Also, mileage is 19 kmpl. No other car can give this much features and class leading mileage. Thanks to maruti for giving this beautiful A Star.
