Maruti 800 Duo with LPG Coming Soon…

Maruti Suzuki India Ltd is working on launching the LPG variant of its legendary car Maruti 800. The new model named “800 Duo” will be introduced sometime next week. The “800 Duo” will price Rs 20000 more than the common petrol variants.
They have already presented the LPG version of their Omni and Wagon R models. This model used to be highest selling model in the India prior Alto captured the top place.
This LPG kit will operate on integrated gas mixer technology. The torque and the power figures have taken a hit marginally with max torque 56Nm at 2500rpm and power of 35ps at 500rpm.
The company is hoping that the option of an LPG would make this car more profitable to buyers today who are facing sudden hikes in the costs of Petrol.

The entry level car Maruti 800 stills the favorite car. Even the production is not stop, it is best and affordable car for a family of 4.And now with the LPG, and there will be more buyers.

sir, I am marketing person. Daily journeying min.250km. I want to take maruthi duo because of low cost and mailage purpose. But some friend expression like., maruthi 800 very sensitive and maintenance is very high and daily you are journeying 300 km, so this is not suggestable and gas kit journey is dangerous, so please clarify my doubts:
1. daily 200 to 300 km , Gas safe or not?
2. maintenance cost?
3. No re-sale value?

is it true rumor that company is going to discontinue the Maruti 800 model? has it already stopped production or any date of sure stoppage.
