Mahindra & Mahindra Limited has launched its most awaited the XYLO, a luxury sedan from its Nashik unit.
Mahindra XYLO is powered with 2.49-litre mEagle CRDe engine that is fuel-efficient and delivers 112 bhp (brake horse power), allowing you to literally fly from 0-60 kmph (km per hour) in just 5.8 seconds.
- Mr. Pawan Goenka (M&M Automotive Sector president) added.The XYLO will be offered in 4 variants and 8 colors : mist silver, fiery black, mint green, gold shimmer, lucky lilac, toreador red, rocky beige and java brown.With enough legroom in both the 2nd and 3rd row, its independent AC vents make sure that surround cool twin AC cools all area of the car with an individual controls for every passengers.According to statement, the XYLO is powered by a 2.49L mEagle CRDe engine delivering 112 bhp with a 24 kg meter torque more a range of 1800rpm to 3000rpm.Top vendors from India, the US, Japan, and Germany have taken part in the development of XYLO. A few of them are the Bosch, Subros, Nippon, and Lumax.

somehow the pics are not great but in reality it is a wounder… wounder for VFM, driving pleasure, space luxury. Should do well. Conceptualisation to production all done indegeniously. A 6.2 ft person can seat with king like comfort. Anybody will think twice before buying a new MPV and ofcourse the price.

The International Motor Show held at the Bandra Kurla Complex, Mumbai had a star attraction; the Mahindra Xylo. And for the four days of the event (15th to 18th January, 2009), this car was clearly the showstopper. Those who attended will tell you that the Xylo stall was undoubtedly the most crowded one. And the various contests being promoted only increased the buzz. But most importantly, the audience was allowed to test drive the car right at the event – something that no other stall was offering. Scores of people were queuing up to experience firsthand what the Xylo had to offer. And by the end of four days, there were hundreds of bookings for the car. Needless to say, Xylo stole the show!
